Nourishe Chocolate Ginger Macadamia Cake
I was sent three different items from Nourishe. They “…are on a mission to create luscious cuisine that is gluten, grain, dairy and soy free. We use natural sweeteners, premium organic ingredients whenever possible and never use preservatives or fake stuff. Unlike traditional gluten-free products made with rice flour or potato starch, we use premium almond, coconut and flax seed flours. This results in a higher quality, better tasting treat with a lower glycemic impact.”
This particular recipe was the Nourishe “Chocolate Ginger Macadamia Muffins“. I mixed this and baked it as a cake. I then melted a couple of ounces of 72% dark chocolate to “frost” the cake and then added some extra crushed macadamia nuts.
This received two whisks up from everyone in my family. We would definitely get this again…especially for a birthday or other special occasion. I can’t wait to try the other mixes!
